Tina Schmid is a yoga teacher based in Wellington. Tina’s aim is to make yoga accessible to everyone and remove any barriers that are holding people back. Her calm, but playful and open-hearted teaching style allows students to feel safe and supported in their practice. Tina guides students into postures, with an awareness of their body and alignment. She focuses on developing strength and flexibility, self awareness and a calm mind to take you into your day.
The two main styles integrated into her teaching are Kripalu and Kundalini. Both focus on the flow of energy through the body, and practising yoga with a sense of awareness and compassion.
By building a regular yoga habit you will become inspired to sustain your practice and take it off the mat, incorporating it into your daily life.
